Rescue Workers Comb Through Germanwings A320 Wreckage

The French Interior Ministry released footage on March 27, which shows investigators searching through debris at the crash site of Germanwings Airbus A320 on Thursday, March 26. Germanwings Airbus A320 was carrying 144 passengers and six crew members when it crashed near the French town of Seynes-les-Alpes after an unexplained eight-minute descent on March 24.

A prosecutor in Marseille said on Thursday that the co-pilot of flight, named as Andreas Lubitz, appeared to have manipulated the plane into a descent and was alive when it hit the ground. The pilot was locked outside of the cockpit at the time. Credit: Dailymotion/Ministère de l’Intérieur
