Rescued Tigers Get the Chance to Swim for the First Time in Their New Nevada Home

Siberian tigers Carli and Lily were rescued by animal services from an animal facility in Buffalo, New York, in 2014 after suffering from poor conditions and neglect. They were transported to Safe Haven, an animal sanctuary in Nevada, and nursed back to health. Kelly Donithan, a rescue officer with the International Fund For Animal Welfare, visited the pair to witness their first foray into water, in a small pool built in the sanctuary.
