Road Crumbles After Oklahoma Flood

Flooding continued to disrupt southern Oklahoma over the weekend of June 20, with several counties affected along the Red River. The flooding was brought by heavy rains from the remnants of Tropical Depression Bill. Several roads were closed as rivers swelled, reaching near-record levels.

Highway 78 near the town of Yuba was closed on Sunday, June 21, after a landslide broke off a chunk of the road around 20 feet wide and 30 feet deep, according to KXII. This video shows part of the road crumble. Credit: Facebook/Micheal Manry
