Saudi Coalition Release Footage of Airstrikes Targeting Houthis

Warplanes from Saudi Arabia and a coalition of Arab nations continued to bombard Houthi rebels in Yemen on Saturday, April 4, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) confirmed on April 5. In a statement released with footage of the airstrikes, the SPA reported that coalition forces targeted Houthi-controlled military sites, ammunition and weapons caches. The SPA did not make clear where in Yemen the strikes were carried out.

An International Committee Red Cross (ICRC) spokeswoman said on April 5 that the Saudi-led military coalition had given the aid agency the green light to bring vital medical supplies and staff to Yemen, according to reports. The approval comes after 11 days of airstrikes by the coalition. Credit: Instagram/spanews
