Saudi Coalition Strikes Hit Houthi Targets as Operation Enters Third Week

Saudi-led coalition warplanes continued bombarding pro-Houthi brigades and forces in Yemen on Tuesday, April 7. Reports said the bombing hit Houthi targets in northern provinces, the Houthi stronghold, and the capital Sanaa. Southern newspaper Aden al-Ghad said heavy artillery was deployed in the Dalea province. According to local reports, fighting also continued in the southern city of Aden.

CNN quoted Yemeni officials from Ibb pronvince saying that the airstrikes targeting a military base on Tuesday hit a nearby school, injuring at least a half dozen students. This video shows bombing on April 7.

“Operation Decision Storm” spokesman Brigadier General Ahmed Asiri said on April 7 that Iran and Hezbollah have trained Houthi militias to “harm Yemen.” On a separate note, Houthi militias blocked access to the Arabic-language news website Al Arabiya from Yemen on Tuesday, according to Al Abrabiya.
