Security Forces Arrive After Shooting Spree in Tunis Military Barracks

Seven military staff were killed and 10 more wounded when a soldier opened fire at the Bouchoucha army barracks in Tunis on Monday, May 25. According to the BBC, the gunman was killed in the gun fight. In a statement, the Tunisian ministry of defence said the gunman was not considered a terrorist but suffered from behavioural and familial problems.

The shooting follows the deadly terrorist attack on Bardo Museum in the Tunisian capital in March, when 22 people were killed.
