New Security Measures Agreed As Hundreds Try To Storm Channel Tunnel

Overnight hundreds of migrants have attempted to storm the Channel Tunnel by pulling down fences on mass. French riot police were called in after the group took security guards and soldiers by surprise. It has underlined the need for more action, with the Home Secretary and her French counterpart describing the situation as a "global migration crisis" and calling for EU-wide assistance.
