Singaporeans Pay Tribute to Former PM Lee Kuan Yew

Members of the SIngapore public continued to leave messages of support, flowers and cards at the Singapore General Hospital (SGC) on Saturday, March 21, where former prime minister Lee Kuan Yew was critically ill. The Singapore Prime Minister’s Office released a brief statement on Saturday to say that the condition of Lee had worsened further.

The 91-year-old Lee, the father of the current prime minister Lee Hsien Loong, has been in hospital since February 5. Lee Kuan Yew is widely seen as the founding father of modern Singapore. Credit: YouTube/Moonie Minnie
