Small Plane Makes Emergency Landing on New Jersey Highway

A small plane made an emergency landing on Route 72 in the New Jersey town of Stafford at around 10am on Sunday, July 12. Five people, including students from a local skydiving center, were on board the plane when it lost power and was forced to land. The plane touched down safely on the highway’s median strip. An eyewitness told NBC News the plane came within feet of cars and powerlines.
