Smoke Billows From Russian Oil Depot Fire

An explosion was reported on July 27 at an oil depot in the Russian town of Nizhny Tagil, Sverdlovsk Oblast. Interfax said that the remnants of fuel and lubricant in an oil tank caught fire, and that there were no casualties. The smoke produced by the fire could be seen for several miles, and residents were warned to stay indoors.
