Soldiers Battle Washington Wildfires

Soldiers from the US Army’s 17th Field Artillery Brigade were helping battle wildfires in northeastern Washington on Tuesday, August 25. The soldiers, stationed at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, have been tasked with protecting sacred native American land in the area where wildfires have scorched nearly 300,000 acres. In this footage, the soldiers create a firebreak.
