Speaking to LGBT Activists, Biden Takes Aim at GOP Candidates

Vice President Joe Biden received a rapturous standing ovation from LGBT activists as he arrived to deliver the keynote address at the Human Rights Campaign on Saturday, October 3. Biden spoke at the campaign’s annual dinner just hours after Hillary Clinton delivered a speech there.

Biden used the speech to highlight his campaigning on the issue of LGBT rights and took a shot at candidates seeking the Republican nomination for president. “There are homophobes still left,” he said. “Most of them are running for president, I think.” Credit: Human Rights Campaign
