Steer Runs Loose Near University of Kentucky Campus

A member of the University of Kentucky’s rodeo team helped capture a steer that got loose near the school’s campus in Lexington on March 31. The animal was on the loose for two hours, stopping traffic and drawing crowds, according to local reports. After failed attempts by university police to corner the steer, a member of the rodeo team lassoed it. The steer came from a university research facility, according to a local report.
