Syrians Burn Russian Flag as Airstrikes Continue
Demonstrators in the northern Syrian town of Kafr Nabl burned a Russian flag on Saturday, October 10, as Vladimir Putin’s government continued airstrikes in their country. The demonstrators held up signs alleging Russia, along with Iran, were supporting Assad and Islamic State in targeting the Free Syrian Army.
The Kafr Nabl activists regularly gather on a Saturday to hold demonstrations. A week earlier they also protested Russia’s intervention in Syria. Credit: YouTube/Raed Fares
