Thousands Rally Against President Correa in Guayaquil

Thousands of protesters took to the streets in Ecuador’s largest city, Guayaquil, on Saturday, June 13, to demonstrate against proposed tax changes made by President Rafael Correa and his government. Protesters gathered in front of government buildings, including the central bank and the civil registry, at the Plaza del Centenario.
