Thunderstorms Roll Through Las Vegas, Leaving Flooded Streets

A flood advisory was issued for Las Vegas, as severe thunderstorms doused the city on Thursday, Aug. 13, with more than an inch of rain and winds topping 60mph, according to local reports. Flights were delayed at Las Vegas’ McCarran International Airport, and as many as 9,000 people were without power. This video shows rain drenching the downtown area outside Las Vegas Library.
