Time-Lapse Shows Smoke From Cougar Creek Wildfire

A wildfire near Washington state’s Mount Adams stood at 1,200 acres on August 12, according to local media. The Cougar Creek Fire likely started because of a lightning strike, according to the report. Some summer cabins may be threatened by the fire, but no evacuations are in place.
