Tunisian MP: The Attacks Will Not Deter Us

At least 11 people including a police officer were reportedly killed in an attack on a museum in Tunis on March 18, according to local news reports.

The museum is next door to the Tunisian parliament. Obadah al-Kafi, the head of the Legislature Committee in the Tunisian National Assembly and a member of the Nidaa Tounis party, spoke to the press as the events unfolded.

At 1’19", Al-Kafi says, “This will not deter us from voting on the terrorism law nor the Supreme Court law, which we were not able to discuss today.”
