Tunisia's Military to Deploy Forces to Major Cities After Attack

President Beji Caid Essebsi oversaw a meeting with the Supreme Council of the Tunisian armed forces and the Supreme Council of Homeland Security at Carthage Palace on Thursday, March 19, after Wednesday’s attack on a Tunis museum left 23 people dead, many of them foreign tourists.

After the meeting, Essebsi decided that Tunisia’s military would deploy forces to major cities across the nation in a push to increase security, according to reports.
