Twin Typhoons Threaten Eastern Asia

Two typhoons, named Goni and Astani, continued to move through the western Pacific on Wednesday, August 19, edging closer to making landfall in eastern Asia. Goni, the most easterly of the pair, was close to the Philippines on Wednesday, and was expected to move northwards towards Taiwan by the weekend, according to AccuWeather.
