Ukrainian Military Forces Learn to Fly Drones

Ukrainian military personnel were filmed learning how to fly drones at a training school in the capital Kiev on February 23. Unarmed reconnaissance drones have been used by both sides in the ongoing conflict between Ukrainian forces and pro-Russian separatists. Despite a massive crowdfunding effort to develop Ukraine’s UAV fleet, the military has had to compete with the rebels’ more advanced, Russian-supplied drones, according to reports.
