Ukrainian Security Forces Patrol Checkpoints After Deadly Gun Battle Near Mukacheve

Ukrainian security forces were patrolling checkpoints near the western town of Mukachevo on Tuesday, July 14, following a fierce gun battle that wounded four civilians and three policemen over the weekend, according to Ukrainian Interior Minister Arsen Avakov.

There were conflicting reports about the number of dead after the attack launched by the Ukrainian nationalist Right Sector group. Reuters reported that one civilian and two members of the far right group were killed.
