UNHCR: Over 13,000 Migrants Rescued in Mediterranean in April Alone

In a new video released on April 17, the UNHCR report that over 13,000 migrants were rescued in the Mediterranean in April alone. The video, shot on the Italian island of Lampedusa, reports on the arrival of dozens of migrants to the island, many of whom were severely burned, on Friday, April 17. The migrants were rescued by an Italian vessel.
