UNRWA on Gaza Destruction: 'Only Rubble Where Homes Once Stood'

Storyful

In a new video released on August 21, the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) document the destruction wrought on Gaza by Israeli strikes during the recent offensive.

UNRWA Commissioner-General Pierre Krähenbühl, speaking in the video, says, “We need to rethink the Gaza paradigm that has seen thousands of civilians killed and injured and wreaked so much destruction, in a pattern of violence that erupts every two or three years.”
