US Air Force Moves Equipment Out of Way of Hurricane Joaquin

The US Air Force at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base moved equipment and personnel on Friday, October 2, as Hurricane Joaquin turned north for a run up the US east coast. While no longer expected to make landfall, Joaquin and other weather systems in the area are already combining to bring heavy rains and strong winds to the coast. The air force typically moves equipment and personnel under hurricane conditions for safety. Credit: Navy Media Content Services
