US Navy Assists in Rescue Operations Following Sewol Disaster

At least 28 people are confirmed dead and 268 still missing as search and rescue operations continue after a ferry capsized off the South Korean Jeju island earlier this week. An arrest warrant was reportedly issued for the ferry Sewol’s captain and two other crew members on Friday, April 18, after it emerged that not he, but a junior officer was at the helm when the vessel capsized.
