Video of Secret Service Agents Crashing Barricade Released

The Congressional Committee on Oversight and Government Reform released video from March 4 of US Secret Service agents crashing into a barricade in front of the White House while driving by a suspected bomb. The video was released during a hearing on March 24.

Committee Chairman Jason Chaffetz said the Secret Service would not provide the video, but the DC Metro Police provided video of the incident to the committee. He then described how long it took for the Secret Service to respond to the bomb threat. Additionally, he describes how long it took agents to pursue and arrest the woman who left the suspected bomb.
