VP Biden Attends Chattanooga Military Memorial for 5 Slain in July Shooting

Vice President Joe Biden and US Defense Secretary Ash Carter paid tribute at a memorial service on Saturday, August 15, to five service members who were murdered by a gunman in Chattanooga, Tennessee. “They were part of the 9/11 generation, the finest generation of warriors the world has ever known,” Biden said at the memorial held in the University of Tennessee-Chattanooga’s McKenzie Arena, and later tweeted on his official account.
