Who's judging this year's Strictly?

Strictly Come Dancing is back with a different judging panel for 2021 - but where is Bruno Tonioli? The TV star has been a regular member of the judging panel since the BBC One show began in 2004, so his absence for the 2021 series is notable.

Tonioli cannot take part in this year's show as he is also a judge on Dancing With The Stars in the US, which runs at the same time as Strictly, and COVID travel restrictions will not allow him to travel between the two countries.

Pro dancer Anton Du Beke has moved over to the other side of the dancefloor by joining the judges. Du Beke was a guest judge for two weeks in 2020 when Motsi Mabuse had to isolate for two weeks after travelling to Germany, but this time he will act as a judge for the full series.

He is the only dancer to have competed in every series of the show since it began, so this year will be a big change for the star. He joins regular panelists, Shirley Ballas, Motsi Mabuse, and Craig Revel Horwood.
