Willow Fire Prompts Evacuations of 1,000 Homes in Northwestern Arizona

A wildfire that started in northwestern Arizona on Saturday spread to over 6,000 acres on Sunday, August 9. Local reports quoted the US Bureau of Land Management saying the Willow Fire damaged 11 structures and prompted the evacuations of around 1,000 homes in the Mohave Valley area.
