Winds Keep Wildfire From British Columbia Homes

A wildfire, stretching over 430 hectares near Kelowna, British Columbia, was kept from populated areas on Tuesday, July 21, when winds blew the fire away from homes on Westside Road. Lightening strikes were blamed for many of the reported 115 separate wildfires burning in British Columbia in recent days. This timelapse video shows smoke rising from the wildfire.
