Wintry Blast Brings Hail to Melbourne

Melbourne woke to the coldest day of the year on Wednesday, May 13, with rain and hail affecting the morning commute. Overnight, the temperature fell to 6.6 degrees Celsius (44 degrees Fahrenheit) and the maximum temperature expected throughout the day was 13 degrees Celsius (55 degrees Fahrenheit).
