“The View”'s Alyssa Farah Griffin Moves from N.Y.C. to 'the Burbs' — and Her Husband Organized Her Closet!
The TV host announced that she and her husband, Justin Griffin, had found their "forever home" in the N.Y.C. suburbs
Alyssa Farah Griffin has found her “forever home.”
The co-host of The View, 35, shared the news that she and husband Justin Griffin are moving out of New York City and into a new house in the suburbs in an Instagram post on Wednesday, Sept. 25.
“These kiddos are bound for the Burbs!” she began the caption to a photo of the couple posing in front of a view of the N.Y.C. skyline at sunset.
Alyssa went on to write that when she got the call from the ABC show’s executive producer, Brian Teta, informing her that she was joining the show in July 2022, Justin agreed to move from Washington, D.C. with only one month’s notice.

“2+ years later we’re headed to our forever home in the NYC suburbs,” she wrote. “Thanks for the memories, Upper East Side! 🤍”
Alyssa, who previously worked as a press secretary for both former Vice President Mike Pence and the Department of Defense, shared more details about the move during a conversation with Teta on The View’s official podcast, Behind the Table on Thursday, Sept. 26.
She explained that it was an especially hectic day, since it coincided with President Joe Biden’s visit to her show.
“We had our movers there until 8:30 last night, so literally my day was morning, rush here, get here early, interview the president of the United States, you know get all the feedback that we were while physically moving into my new house,” she recalled.
Alyssa went on to say she was “so excited” for the new home, where the couple’s dog was already “zooming in the lawn.” She also gave a special shout-out to Justin for making everything go smoothly.
“He managed 99 percent of the moving because I had to be here,” she said. “And he was like, ‘This is a huge day; you have the president. Just focus, don’t rush home.’ ”

While reflecting on the importance of having a supportive partner, Alyssa then revealed, “He also helped me organize my closet.”
“I’m not good at a lot of the girl things,” she admitted. “But he sent me a picture. He’s like, ‘Hey, I ended up moving a few things ‘cause I thought this would work better for you. I was like ‘stop.’ ”
Alyssa added that Justin was currently “sitting at home with nothing to do,” after skipping a work trip since she didn’t want to be home alone on their second night in the house.
