For 2025, Ford refreshes the Explorer, giving the mid-size SUV visual tweaks that address the front and rear ends as well as other new options.

The most notable changes to the 2025 Explorer's exterior is the larger grille.

Along with a larger grille, every 2025 Explorer has restyled headlights, as seen on this Platinum trim.

The trailer towing package is now standard on the redesigned Explorer, with every model rated to tow up to 5000 pounds.

The Explorer ST remains the sportiest model, and it packs a 400-hp twin-turbo 3.0-liter V-6.

Just like before, the Explorer ST comes with a 10-speed automatic transmission and rear- or all-wheel drive.

For 2025, the Explorer ST rides on these new Magnetite-painted 21-inch wheels.

Like its headlights, the Explorer's taillights have a new design that features a horizontal bar with partially illuminated elements.

BMW gets grilled for putting massive grilles on its cars and SUVs. The new Ford Explorer has a huge grille too, but we doubt anyone will complain.

The 2025 Ford Explorer's front bumper was designed to make the three-row SUV look lower and wider.

The Ford Explorer ST seen here starts at $56,800, which is $5100 more than last year's model.
