The View were forced to abandon a gig after the lead singer threw a punch at the band's bass guitarist during an onstage bust-up.
The Dundee band later apologised and said it was a "brotherly bust-up that went too far".
The incident occurred during a gig at The Deaf Institute in Manchester on Wednesday night.
Footage shared online by fans of the Scottish indie rock band shows singer Kyle Falconer, 35, throw his guitar down after bassist Kieren Webster, 37, seemingly kicks his microphone stand.
Falconer then lands several punches and a kick.
The singer, later left standing on his own onstage, apologised to the audience before ending the set.
He said: "The problem with this band is he wants to sing the songs and he can't, right, so [see you]."
Greater Manchester Police said officers were not called to the incident.
On Friday, the band issued an apology.
A statement posted online read: "Sorry to the fans at our show in Manchester and everywhere else that we've upset - we had a brotherly bust-up that went too far, and we cannae wait to get back to touring in November and throughout the festival season with yous lot."
The band were due to perform at the Oslo in Hackney, London, on Thursday night, but the gig was postponed.
In the update on Friday, the band said the tickets will be valid for their show in the city at Scala on 7 December.

The View is best known for hit Same Jeans, which reached number three in the UK Singles Chart in 2007.
The band announced a hiatus in 2017 and have since played a number of comeback gigs. Their new album, Exorcism Of Youth, is set for release this August.
They are due to appear at Neighbourhood Weekender in Warrington on 27 May and are also scheduled to play a number of other gigs, including TRNSMT in Glasgow this summer.
The Deaf Institute has been contacted for comment.
