The Subaru Solterra is the brand's first foray into electric vehicles. It was co-developed with Toyota and is largely a twin to the Toyota bZ4x.

The 2024 Subaru Solterra’s five-seat cabin features plenty of soft materials and a unique fabric on the dashboard that appears to be inspired by athletic wear.

For 2024, Subaru replaced the circular steering wheel with a more square-shaped unit.

This is supposed to make it easier to see the small digital gauge cluster above, but still results in an awkward driving position.

Subaru also added new paddles behind the steering wheel for 2024, making it easier to adjust the level of regenerative braking.

The 12.3-inch center touchscreen looks sharp and borrows its easy-to-use infotainment setup from its Toyota bZ4X sibling.

The Solterra Touring features heated rear seats, and all Solterra’s have a pair of USB-C ports for the rear passengers.

The 2024 Solterra Touring also now has ventilated front seats as standard.

There's 24 cubic-feet of luggage space behind the rear seats.

The Solterra also lacks both a glovebox and a frunk.
