The S6 Sportback e-tron joins the A6 e-tron midway through 2025 as Audi's new electric offerings.

The S6's dash features a single curved screen that houses the digital instrument cluster and the infotainment display.

A Bang & Olufsen premium sound system includes speakers in the front-seat headrests.

The glass roof can electronically vary its opacity by section.

Microfiber suede is used on the door panels, seats, dash, and center console armrest.

A 10.9-inch front-passenger display is available.

NEW DELHI (Reuters) -Hyundai , Maruti Suzuki and Tata Motors used the India auto show to unveil ambitious plans to expand their electric vehicle charging network to address the issues that are putting customers off making the switch. The five-day auto show in New Delhi starting on Friday saw carmakers show off their new EVs and India's Prime Minister Narendra Modi make a case for more investment in the world's third-biggest market, where automakers are desperately trying to increase sales and where Tesla has long-delayed its plans to enter.

Automaker group files lawsuit to block US automatic emergency braking rule
WASHINGTON (Reuters) -A group representing major automakers said on Friday it filed a lawsuit to block a landmark rule from the administration of President Joe Biden requiring nearly all new cars and trucks by 2029 to have advanced automatic emergency braking systems. The Alliance for Automotive Innovation, representing General Motors, Toyota Motor, Volkswagen and other automakers, said the rule finalized in April by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is "practically impossible with available technology." NHTSA declined to comment.
