With a bit more power and a new face, the base Porsche Panamera and its all-wheel-drive sibling bring a little extra comfort in the sports sedan's third generation.
The Porsche Panamera and Panamera 4 rely on a twin-turbo 2.9-liter V-6 for motivation.
Output is a solid 348 horsepower and 368 pound-feet of torque, improvements of 23 and 37, respectively, over its predecessor.
All Panamera variants utilize the same eight-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission.
Equipped with optional launch control, Porsche estimates the Panamera 4 will reach 60 mph in 4.5 seconds.
Without the launch control, that extends to a positively glacial 4.7 seconds.
Air springs are now standard on the Panamera and Panamera 4.
In the roads seen here around Seville, Spain, the new suspension does offer more compliance in chill situations, but swapping to Sport mode delivers the same stiff agility we've come to expect and love from the Panamera.
If you're looking to scoop one up, a base rear-wheel-drive Panamera will set you back $101,550.
If all-wheel drive is on your must-have list, you'll need to add $7000 to the bottom line.
