Just two years after its introduction, BMW is giving the M2 coupe a series of small upgrades, both to the inline-six engine and to the cabin.
All M2s now produce 473 horsepower, a 20-hp bump over the 2024 model's output.
M2s fitted with the automatic transmission now have 443 pound-feet of torque, up by 37 pound-feet from last year.
The twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter in manual-transmission-equipped M2s has the same 406 pound-feet of torque as the outgoing car.
Exterior tweaks are minor, with black badges now outlined in silver and a new silver finish for the wheels.
There are also a host of new colors, including Sao Paulo Yellow, Java Green metallic, and Voodoo Blue.
The M2's cabin gets a redesigned steering wheel with new spokes, a flat-bottomed rim, and a red center marker at the 12 o'clock position.
BMW also now allows the M Carbon bucket seats to be selected without also necessitating the nearly $10,000 Carbon package.
BMW is also placing more emphasis on the curved display, with the climate controls now operated through either the screen or via voice commands.
The 2025 BMW M2 will start at $64,195 when sales begin in August.
