The 2025 Kia K4 is a new compact sedan that replaces the Kia Forte. The K4 offers two engine options and will go on sale in the second half of 2024.
Compared with the Forte the K4 is nearly three inches longer and two inches wider.
The 2025 Kia K4 will offer five trim levels, including LX, LXS, EX, GT-Line, and GT-Line Turbo.
The K4's base powertrain is a 147-hp 2.0-liter inline-four and a continuously variable automatic transmission.
The GT-Line Turbo comes with a 190-hp turbocharged 1.6-liter inline-four and an eight-speed automatic transmission.
The K4's interior reflects Kia's new design aesthetic, and there's a lower dash panel that incorporates HVAC vents.
The K4 GT-Line seen here has a two-tone steering wheel with squared edges along with a prominent dead pedal and physical shift lever.
The interior offers a combination of a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster and a 12.3-inch central infotainment touchscreen.
Kia says the K4 has more rear legroom than the Forte, but the trunk is slightly smaller than before.
Kia says the K4 will go on sale in the U.S. in the second half of this year.
We expect the 2025 K4 to carry a slightly higher starting price than the Forte, which started at $21,145.
