VW is offering single-motor, rear-wheel-drive and dual-motor, all-wheel-drive powertrains.
We drove the single-motor ID.7, which has 282 horsepower and 402 pound-feet of torque.
Initially, all versions of the ID.7 will have a 77.0-kWh battery pack, which in the rear-drive model is expected to deliver around 300 miles of range.
