Vin Diesel and Jeremy Renner send support to Jamie Foxx after star's 'medical complication'

Vin Diesel and Jeremy Renner are among the stars to send support to Jamie Foxx after he broke his silence about his "medical complication".

The family of the Oscar-winner said last month he was being treated with "great care" and was "on his way to recovery" but didn't give further details.

Foxx, 55, posted a message on Instagram on Wednesday saying: "Appreciate all the love!!! Feeling blessed."

Renner, who's recovering after a snowplough accident, posted: "Sending you strength and love."

Action star Diesel, Courteney Cox and singer John Legend all replied with the prayer emoji, while Mary J Blige wrote "Love you Jamie."

Foxx also thanked actor Nick Cannon for taking his place on the musical game show Beat Shazam, saying on his Instagram story: "Appreciate ya my boy @nickcannon. See u all soon."

His daughter Corrine responded by thanking people "for the love".

She announced her father's situation in April, writing on Instagram: "We wanted to share that my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday.

"Luckily, due to quick action and great care, he is already on his way to recovery.

"We know how beloved he is and appreciate your prayers. The family asks for privacy during this time. Much love, The Foxx Family."

The Django Unchained and Ray actor was reportedly taken ill in Atlanta while filming a movie called Back In Action with Cameron Diaz.
