Vinnie Jones is marking an important milestone this week as he reaches seven years of sobriety from alcohol.
The former footballer has taken to his social media to encourage others to give up "the worst drug on this planet" as he noted how far he'd come.
He posted a throwback photo of himself with his late wife Tanya, writing: "Tomorrow is my 7 year alcohol DRY anniversary, the worst drug on this planet will get found out one day!!!

"If I can quit, believe me ; you can ,and your life will be a million percent better! I guarantee it."
"Join me!" Jones, 55, added. "Get yourself dry and get your life and your families life back on track, be a leader not a follower, dare to be different!"
He put a stop to his drinking after one heavy night while filming for a programme in Russia in 2013 saw him pictured kissing another woman, putting his marriage at risk.
The Snatch star managed to keep his relationship together and was devoted to wife Tanya up until her death from cancer last year at the age of 53.
He's since said he will never love again following on from her tragic passing as she was the "light of his life".
Jones has also recently backed the change in organ donation laws in the UK as he spoke about the heart transplant his wife received after suffering from heart failure after giving birth age 21.
In an interview with BBC Inside Out, Jones said: “Tans had a transplant after her heart collapsed giving birth and we lived with that for ever more. It was a fantastic gift that we were given.

“If you kneel down in front of the pearly gates and say: ‘Give us five more years with her, give us 10 years’ – you take that. We had 32.”
He went on: “It saved my life, not just hers.”
