Violent Disorder Continues in Belfast After Anti-Immigration Protests

Several vehicles and a building were set on fire as violence spawned by far-right anti-immigration protests continued into the night in Belfast, Northern Ireland, on Saturday, August 3.

The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) urged members of the public to avoid the Donegall Road and Sandy Row area of south Belfast as they responded to “ongoing disorder.”
