NEW YORK (AP) _ Virtu Financial Inc. (VIRT) on Thursday reported fourth-quarter profit of $80.9 million.

The New York-based company said it had net income of 74 cents per share. Earnings, adjusted for one-time items, were 67 cents per share.

The high-speed trading company posted revenue of $442.2 million in the period. Its adjusted revenue was $299.2 million.

For the year, the company reported profit of $289.4 million, or $2.78 per share. Revenue was reported as $1.02 billion.

Virtu Financial shares have decreased slightly since the beginning of the year. The stock has climbed 24 percent in the last 12 months.
