Vogue Williams: ‘I Don’t Know If I Could Handle Going On Celebrity Big Brother’ - EXCLUSIVE

Despite splitting from Brian McFadden, Vogue Williams has had a super successful 2015 so far, from winning Bear Grylls’ Mission Survive to becoming the face of Michelle Mone’s UTan range.

Her career is continuing to go from strength-to-strength too, with the gorgeous babe heading to LA next month to film the final episode of her own show.

Hurrah!

Having already taken part on Dancing With The Stars and Stepping Out (which she appeared on with Brian), we couldn’t resist asking Vogue, 29, if she’d try her hand at any other reality shows - say, Celebrity Big Brother, for example?

With the start date for this year’s show just around the corner, Vogue admitted: “I love doing shows where you get to learn something, I’m always focused on stuff like that.

“I think I would kill people in Celebrity Big Brother and that’s why I like watching it so much. It would just drive me mad, I don’t know if I could handle it. That’s why it’s such a good show - people are literally put in there to drive each other insane.

“That starts again really soon, that’s one of my favourite shows to watch.”

Ours too, Vogue.

She also revealed she “never thought” she’d win Bear Grylls’ show, saying: “When I went in and saw everyone, I was like ‘Okay I’m definitely not going to win this’! No, not for a second. Not even when he was just about to tell me I won did I think I was gonna win.

“It just felt really surreal. We were all so tired, so hungry, I was like ‘did I hear that right?’, I wasn’t sure if I heard it right, so it was an amazing feeling. The most exciting part was ringing Brian and ringing my family and telling them all that I’d won and everything. They were delighted.”

The model and TV and radio personality added that she surprised herself about how little she whinged, which we HAVE to commend her on, considering how much moaning we reckon we’d do in that situation.

She explained: “My sister told me ‘you are gonna be so whingey when you go in there’, so I was really quite concerned about being a negative person in there and I was quite surprised.

“I just actually really enjoyed being there. I loved everyone that I was hanging out with and it was just like being on a summer camp. A really really hard summer camp.”

And the toughest moment on the show? “There was one night, and we basically had to build our own shelter,” she recalls.

“We thought we’d done a really good job, and it was a really long night because we had to catch our own food as well and build our own shelter. We got into our shelter and it was just covered in huge beetles and everything, but it didn’t really bother us because we were so tired.

“It just lashed rain all night, then the rain started coming in, dripping on our faces, and then eventually the sleeping bag was just a huge pool of water.

“That was just the worst night, it was so hard. I don’t think any of us really slept and then we had to go on this trek the next day, that was probably the hardest thing.” YIKES.

She might not have had to build camps or battle intense rain for her stunning UTan photoshoot, but she did stick with the rainforest theme, looking gorgeous as she posed naked against a background of plants.

Vogue, who’s favourite product is the ‘dark lotion’, told us that she has Michelle’s hairdresser to thank for her becoming the new face of the products, telling us: “[Michelle’s hairdresser] was showing her lots of pictures of my Instagram and stuff like that and that’s sort of how Michelle found out about me and she just emailed me. It was that easy really.”

Adding that she didn’t have to hesitate about saying yes, she continued: “I tried the tan, the tan’s amazing and it’s a really good product and Michelle’s amazing so I was delighted to be a part of it.

“It’s the first time I’ve ever had to use where you’ve only had to put on one layer, it just gives you such a good colour, one layer and you can just go.

“I used to, you’d be planning your tan for the weekend, and you’d be putting it on Wednesday night, then Thursday night, Friday, but with this you can just put it on - and there’s a 40 minute one as well which you can just put on and wash off after 40 minutes so it’s amazing.”

Vogue admits that she “wasn’t really nervous” about the photoshoot, explaining: “I knew a lot of the team that was there anyway, so I just wasn’t really nervous because I knew everyone. We were just having fun all day and the naked shot was the last shot of the day so I’d worked up to it.

“I actually got a really good reaction, so it was nice.”

Having been a victim to her own fake tan disasters in the past (luminous orange hands at school, mainly), the fake tanning pro gave us some top tips in making sure your tan comes out perfectly.

Handy for us, after we recently went to a wedding looking like our two-year-old niece had wiped some orange peel up and down our legs an hour before.

Vogue, who fake tans “once or twice a week”, said: “Exfoliate the night before, but you’re always meant to do that anyway with tan. I rub a little bit of moisturiser on my hands, on my elbows, on my ankles, and then just rub it in.

“To be honest, with UTan it wears off really nicely, so you don’t have to worry about it wearing off and you looking like lizard, it just comes off nicely. It doesn’t streak at all, and it doesn’t smell which is amazing. Some tans can you leave you stinking for days so this one’s nice because it actually doesn’t smell at all.”

THANK YOU, VOGUE!
