Vogue Williams Speaks Out For The First Time Since Brian McFadden Split

Vogue Williams has spoken out for the first time since she and Brian McFadden announced they’ve split, describing it as a “really tough week.”

The two announced that their relationship had come to end last week, which, coincedentally, was the same day that Cupid got FIRED.

Must try harder, Cupid.

Writing in her weekly column for the Sunday World, the 29-year-old said: “This has been a really tough week for Brian and I.

"The support we’ve been getting from people online has been amazing. Seeing everyone’s kind words has really made a difference in this hard time.

"We both have great families and friends that are being really supportive too.

"I don’t want to say too much on the subject, but I will say that we really do remain friends and will always be in each others’ lives.”

However, the DJ was also forced to defend herself after the Sunday World tweeted out a headline that, according to Vogue, included words she’d never said.

She tweeted: “Feeling incredibly annoyed right now,” before replying to one follower to say: “I never said that, I only saw the headline now, I’d never say something so ridiculous.”

The headline has since been deleted.

Vogue and 35-year-old posted identical split statements on Twitter last week (aside from changing the names, of course), which read: “It is with sadness that Brian and I have made the tough decision to go our separate ways.

“We will always care greatly about each other, remain friends and wish each other all the very best for the future.

“We have nothing else to say on the subject and we would like to thank our friends and family for their support during this difficult period. Vogue x”.

It’s good to hear they both have great support systems around them to deal with the sad split, and we wish them both all the best.
