The Voice fans have been quick to react to an update shared by show bosses during the latest new episode. Saturday saw the second instalment of the 2024 series air on ITV, with singers desperate to make judges Tom Jones, LeAnn Rimes, will.i.am, and McFly's Danny Jones and Tom Fletcher turn their chairs for them.

During the latest episode, a clip was shared on the official The Voice UK X account that showed an interaction between Sir Tom and Will, who said: "When I told my mom I was doing The Voice and Tom Jones was on it, my mom was like 'Sir Tom Jones?!' And still to this day my mom's always like 'how's Tom Jones?'"

Tom interjected with: "How's the dynamic after 12 years? Has it changed?" Sir Tom said: "It started off great and it's just gotten better" and Will replied: "Yeah!" Captioning the update, show bosses said: "Can someone get will.i.am's mum some Tom Jones merch please?? #TheVoiceUK."
