The Voice UK kicked off its ever-tense battle rounds last night, and it's making a weekend out of it, with the sing-off between contestants continuing on tonight (February 26) with some performances that look like they'll be quite the showdown.

First up Team Will's Jazmin Sawyers and Hayley Eccles will be facing off against each other with a battle round performance of 'Hold My Hand' by Jess Glynne, complete with true pop diva glittery dresses.

Olympic long jumper Jazmin impressed will.i.am in the audition round with her take on Alessia Cara's 'Here', while Hayley managed to earn another elusive turn from the producer after her audition with 'Upside Down'.

And going by the judges' raised eyebrow glances at one another here, this looks set to be a particularly well-matched battle, with both girls singing their hearts out in a bid to make the live knockout rounds.

Also looking to heat up the competition is Team J-Hud's Kit Rice and Jack Bruley, who will go head-to-head tonight with a rendition of 'Ex-Factor' by Lauryn Hill.

Jennifer Hudson herself looks a bit emotional in the clip as the boys take on the song and both are clearly pulling out all the stops to earn their place in the next round, but there's still no saying who will end up victorious - so we'll just have to go ahead and watch the show tonight to find out.

Kit was one of the final auditions of the series last week, impressing judges with his sassy version of 'Ain't No Sunshine' while Jack took a bit of an interrogation about his love life from will.i.am after his successful audition earlier in the series.

The Voice UK continues tonight at 7pm on ITV.
