Ex-Hollyoaks star Abi Phillips left the soap in 2013, after her on-screen character Liberty Savage managed to secure herself a recording contract and follow her dream of becoming a singer.

So Abi was no doubt hoping for a little bit of life-imitating-art magic to happen when she chose to go on The Voice UK, with her blind audition airing on tomorrow night's episode.

Will her performance of Little Big Town's 'Girl Crush' be enough to get one of the coaches to turn for her?

After starring as Liberty between 2010 and 2013, Abi is hoping to step back from the character for good by establishing a music career, and the 22-year-old's audition certainly seems to give the coaches something to think about.

Gavin Rossdale in particular looks to be on the verge of pushing the all-important button - and by the sounds of things he's not a bad coach to have - but with the teams all filling up fast, competition for the remaining places is getting fierce.

Will Abi be able to follow in Liberty's footsteps?

Also hoping to win over the judges on Saturday is 16-year-old Welsh singer Victoria Kerley, who performs a version of Shawn Mendes's 'Treat You Better' as her audition.

Once again, the preview clip is giving very little away as to which, if any, of the judges might turn around (accidentally or otherwise), but we're personally hoping that some of Sir Tom Jones's Welsh senses start tingling.

The Voice UK continues on Saturday (February 17) at 8pm on ITV.
